Best AI story generators that take the story on to video
AI Drama Generator and SceneMixer earn all four points. Ten more makers earn three. The count reads what each maker's own page says and does not rate the stories that come out. As of 2026-09-25. The rule below was written before the places were computed, and no maker pays to be listed.
1Four points for a story generator that keeps going
Someone typing "AI story generator" may want a short tale to read, or may want a story to build something from. The four points here suit the second reader. A maker earns one when its page says it writes a story, a premise, a scenario or an episode or scene plan; one when it says how genre, tone or templates are set; one when it names a language setting or a list of languages; and one when it says the story is handed on to a storyboard, a shot list or video.
- Writes a story, a premise, a scenario or an episode or scene plan
- Offers a choice of genre, tone, templates or genre examples
- States which languages it writes in, by name, count or setting
- Passes the story on to a storyboard, shot list or video
2What the first point counts
The first point is about the shape of the output. A prose story, a worked-out premise, a scenario with cast and scenes, a scene breakdown and an episode plan all earn it. A screenplay with dialogue, a narration script or a two-column script does not, because those are scored in the ranking of tools that write the script.
3The standings
Inclusion rule. Makers among the 27 in the register whose pages state at least one of the points listed above; every one of them states at least one, so all 27 are listed. Order. Descending by points; ties share a rank and break alphabetically.

Inclusion rule. Each row is one point from the list above, with every maker whose own pages state it, in the order of the ranking.
5What the total cannot say
Two makers on the same total can write very different stories: one page may promise a premise built from a few choices and another a scenario with named characters. The pages quoted under the table carry that wording, and nobody read the stories themselves. The languages point is the sparsest, since many pages name none.
None of the 27 makers read scored zero here, so every one appears in the table.
Behind the points sit four fields of the register: output, genre, language and next step. Two neighbouring tables take the same story further: story to video and movie generators. The story writer table drops the handoff and asks about length instead; all of them begin at the rankings.
