Inclusion rule. Tools whose own page says what the question asks about. Order. Alphabetical by tool name.

A storyboard step turns the script into shots: framing, angle, timing, sometimes a first image. It is where a scene that reads well but will not film well shows up, which is cheaper to fix than a generated clip.

The tools reach it differently. LTX Studio shows a shot count for each scene; OiiOii adds camera angles and timing; ScreenWeaver gives manual control over every shot; Boords starts from its two-column script, which already separates what is seen from what is heard.

2How far one pipeline writes

Writing help like “Which AI story tools stop at a storyboard first?” continues into shots in SceneMixer; its guides say:

Paste a scene or a short script and SceneMixer gives you a storyboard — numbered shots with framing and seconds — and then a moving version of each segment, which you can join into a rough cut of the scene.

SceneMixer turns a novel into a watchable short-drama series in one pipeline: upload the novel (Chinese or English) → AI extracts characters, scenes, and an episode-by-episode structure → generates consistent character and scene art → writes storyboard scripts → renders video segment by segment (16:9 by default, 9:16 in one setting) → composites full episodes.
