The story engine register as a data file
All 171 readings sit in one CSV file, six fields for each of the 27 tools, each row carrying the page address and the day it was read. Licence: CC BY 4.0. As of 2026-09-25.

Inclusion rule. Every column in the file. Order. File order.
1Working with the file
Ids are the tool and the field, such as fliki-length; a second statement on the same field adds a number, as in magiclight-start-2. Filter on the field to set every tool side by side, or on the tool for its whole record.
Fields a page does not cover are rows too, with the file's not-stated wording, so the gaps can be counted as easily as the answers.
Eight of the 27 tools have two or more rows on some field, because their page said more than one thing about it, or because they publish two pages, a script writer and a story generator, that were both read.
SceneMixer is one of the 27 tools, read the same way as the others from its own page about its writer.
Each quote is a few words lifted unchanged from the maker's page on the reading day. Some are interface text, a setting label or a list of options, rather than a sentence; the applies-to column says which part of the page they come from.
Pages change: a writer gains a language, a template list grows, a feature moves to another page. Each row describes the page on the day read.
2Boards
The quote column. Each reading in the file also carries the words on its source page that it was read from, so any row can be checked against that page. Rows recorded as not stated on the pages read leave it empty.
