How far each AI story tool writes for you

Writing fields: six points, every tool

Each page here takes one point, how length is set for instance, and lines up every tool's reading with the line quoted from its page. Pages under each point look at one tool on its own. As of 2026-09-25.

The points run from what you hand over, through the controls, to where the draft goes.

Where a page is silent on a point, the field page says so for that tool.

The language field is the one most pages skip, which makes its page mostly a list of silence.

Single-tool pages exist where the maker's page gives a full sentence on the point.

Start with the output field if you are choosing between a drama tool and a social video tool: scenes with dialogue and a hook with narration are different jobs, and the pages usually say which one they do.

The next-step field matters most for budgeting. A storyboard before video is a cheap place to change your mind; a tool that goes straight to video moves that decision later.

Writing help like “Writing fields” continues into shots in SceneMixer; its guides say:

It is the reference every later segment points at, which is what keeps a character's face and a location consistent across an episode.

Dubbing replaces the audio of a finished clip; the picture was generated for a different line, so mouth shapes, pauses and shot length all belong to the original language. Native-language generation gives the video model the line in the target language before it renders the shot, so the performance, the pacing and the cut points are built for that language.
